51: what to do when they ghost you
Have you been ghosted by someone you really care about? Or did they end things abruptly through text message?
I received a message recently from a woman asking for advice, and I decided (with her permission) to respond on the podcast.
Here's her message: “Hi!!🤍 I just saw your videos on tiktok and was very helpful and great advice. I am going through a bad breakup, now feeling heartbroken and pushed him away / not sure if I ruined it or not. We dated for 5 months. He seems to have an avoidant attachment and a few days ago when he didn’t call me for a few days, after we spent 4 days in a row together with his family, I said “hey is everything ok?” (he texted me everyday since March). I asked him to call me and he said no and that I freaked him out and he just wanted to be friends. He’s 38. I really thought he was my person. I’ll never forgive myself for ruining it w him. Idk what to do.”
